WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PVC COATED CLOTH & PU COATED CLOTH?

Update:03 Feb
What they have in common is that they both belong to coating type. PVC leather and PU leather are collectively referred to as artificial leather. PVC and Pu are both PVC, PVC coated cloth feel hard and PU coated cloth feel soft, the difference lies in the manufacturing process. Now let's look at the differences between the two technologies.

1.PVC coated cloth process: in the production process of artificial leather, the plastic particles should be heated and stirred to form a paste, evenly coated on the T / C knitted fabric base according to the specified thickness, and then enter the foaming furnace for foaming, so that it can adapt to the production of different products and different needs.

2. PU coating cloth process: the production process of PU leather is more complex than that of PVC leather. Because Pu base cloth is canvas PU material with good tensile strength, it can not only be coated on the top of the base cloth, but also be sandwiched in the middle, so that the base cloth can not be seen. PU leather has better physical properties, bending resistance, softness, tensile strength and air permeability than PVC leather.

The difference between PVC coated cloth and PU coated cloth is simple. In footwear, PVC leather is mainly used for lining or non load bearing parts. PU leather can be used for shoe fabrics or load-bearing parts. In addition, from the corner, Pu bottom cloth is much thicker than PVC, and Pu feels softer than PVC.
